This notice explains what Kanawha Law Project collects through this site and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email, phone, county and message. Our site host keeps standard logs, like your browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site working.

How we use it

We use what you send only to reply to you and to decide whether we can help. We don’t sell it or share it with advertisers. We may report counts, never names, to the funders who pay for the clinic.

How long we keep it

Messages from people who don’t become clients are deleted after a year. Client files are kept as long as the rules for lawyers require.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to help@kanawhalawproject.org or calling (304) 555-0142.
